About

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory is headquartered in Charlottesville. So some of them might attend. This is one of the coolest things we will be doing. Some of us have been to this several times. There is virtually no light pollution 10 minutes south of Charlottesville. They bring out big portable telescopes and they let you look through them. The UVA Astronomy Department helps run it. You don't want to miss this. Yes, kids are a big focus. So there are a lot of kids running around. But we've been there with all-adult groups, and it's awesome. We'll carpool. This is at a cidery. And their tasting room will be open.
