Celebrate Virginia Archives Month at the Shenandoah Valley Archives Fair! Whether you are interested in local history and genealogy, looking for research materials and archival resources, or exploring career and internship opportunities, this event is for you. You'll be able to visit booths hosted by archives and cultural heritage organizations from across the Shenandoah Valley, meet archives professionals, and learn how you can access and interact with unique local collections Founded in 2019, this is an annual event that rotates among host institutions throughout the Valley as part of Virginia Archives Month. 2026 Host Digital Scholarship and Distinctive Collections at James Madison University Libraries Location JMU's Carrier Library, Ground Floor. Enter Carrier's Jones Wing Entrance, which faces Grace Street and the Student Success Center. Parking All are welcome at this event! View information about parking near JMU Libraries locations.
