Her creative endeavors started at the age of two when she graffitied her name on the side of her mattress with a red Sanford permanent marker. (Re)Collection features hand-lettered works and digital pattern designs by multidisciplinary artist and designer Anna Marie Smith. Inspired by community contributions, nature, and her Italian-American heritage, Smith’s work explores collective perspectives, memory, craftsmanship, and the art of making.
