**NEW DESCRIPTION: With continued Hot Weather; Hike will be Modified to a 7-mile 1500 ft elevation gain Shuttle Hike using the Wildcat Ridge, Rip Rap and AT Trails.** with the option to complete the fairly strenuous loop hike of about 9.5 miles and 2100 ft elevation gain using the AT south from Rip Rap Parking. **We will now meet at Rip Rap Parking (near Milepost 90)** *From there we will Carpool to Wildcat Ridge Parking Lot located on the Skyline Drive near Milepost 92 to start our hike.* There is a great overlook at Calvary Rocks, several stream crossings, and *a great swimming hole, so you may want to come prepared to get wet*. Dress for the weather and bring lunch-snacks, **water**, bug-sun and weather protection, ***And Extra Water if it's Hot.*** No dogs for this hike.
