With the approach of Autumn comes the Firefly House's annual Mabon retreat. This year, it will take place from Thursday, September 17, through Sunday, September 20. As we have done for the prior few years, we'll be returning to [Sukkah Village](https://www.carolinefurnace.org/caroline-furnace#i4jxlsdj) at the [Caroline Furnace Camp and Retreat](https://www.carolinefurnace.org/) in Fort Valley, VA (about 90 minutes to 2 hours away from DC — rides will be available). And, as is also our tradition, we'll be sharing the space with our friends from the Wilderness Between! Reserving this space is expensive, so we will be asking that attendees pay between $50 and $75 for the full weekend. See the document linked below for information about how to pay. For those that have not attended before, cabins are available that sleep up to eight people on bunk beds. You can also bring a tent if you prefer. There is also a bath house with flush toilets and showers, so while we may not have all the comforts of home, we aren't entirely roughing it either. You're expected to provide your own food, and we will have a shared feast on Saturday night. Bringing a food offering for the feast is encouraged. There is a refrigerator available, but space is limited. We'll also have a number of ice chests.
