This is a classic Virginia loop hike that takes us along a lovely ridge walk, past a 30' waterfall and also through Sherando Lake and campground area. Better yet, the steepest part is at the beginning! Hoping that the stars align and we get to enjoy this trail during the spring bloom of Mountain Laurel, azaleas, rhododendron, or perhaps all 3!
