WHEN I WAS tells the story of a woman who, with the help of her younger self, reflects on her teenage years. Guiding herself through her past with a lens of humor, spirituality, and oftentimes angst- the play tackles the age-old question: “What are some things you’d tell to your younger self?” WHEN I WAS invites the audience to connect with their younger selves in the midst of growing up, no matter what age. This is truly a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience. Admission will be free, but donations are HIGHLY encouraged as our production team will be taking WHEN I WAS on tour to DC almost every weekend in July! WHEN I WAS was accepted earlier this year into the 2026 District Fringe Festival in Washington DC.
